You know you're old when your costume still involves a tiny sailor hat, and your only recurring villain is your own blood pressure

This is a fan art model inspired by the fictional character Barnacle Boy, a supporting character and sidekick from the American animated series SpongeBob SquarePants.

Model Description

The figure is a detailed, stylized representation of the character, captured in his classic, slightly hunched posture.

  • Head and Face: The model clearly captures the character's distinct features, including his large, circular spectacles and an exaggerated, long, downward-sloping nose. He is wearing his signature sailor cap, which features a curled brim and a slight peak at the top. The expression appears grumpy or weary, matching his persona in the show.
  • Costume and Stance: The figure is dressed in his iconic superhero outfit, which includes what appears to be a tight-fitting suit with a prominent belt line around the waist and wrist cuffs or gloves. The model has a lean, slightly bent-over posture.
  • Footwear: Instead of standard shoes, the figure is wearing flippers on his feet, consistent with the character's underwater setting. The base of the figure is integrated with these flippers, providing stability for the tall, thin structure.
  • Printing Details: The entire figure is a single-piece FDM 3D print, exhibiting visible horizontal layer lines, particularly noticeable along the curved surfaces of the torso and the front/back of the costume.

   Guide

Each of my models is printed 2-3 times before releasing the profile. So if you have a problem with printing:

1. DRY THE FILAMENT

2.  CLEAN THE PLATE BEFORE PRINTING

2. CHANGE THE NOZZLE TO A NEW ONE (if old or broken).
