Modifications: Widened the slider's mounting base to prevent installation difficulties, switched to a softer 2GT timing belt to reduce resistance, the timing pulleys are generated, preventing tooth skipping, the timing pulley is now mounted on top, the lead screw is now secured with two anti-loosening nuts, the bearing housing presses in two bearings, and the bearing housing at the other end doesn't necessarily need a bearing.

A full linear rail mini manual milling machine designed by myself, which can be used to process small metal parts. It's 3D Printed, costing less than 100 yuan, with a processing size of only 60*60*50mm. The frame is only 20cm long, 15cm wide, and 23cm high, suitable for processing small parts. Currently it's a fully manual version, with screw holes reserved for future conversion to CNC. It uses a 775 motor, powered by a 12V adjustable speed power supply, six sets of 10cm MGN12C linear rails and MGN12C standard sliders. A set of linear rail and slider only costs 2.5 to 4 yuan, depends on your luck. Search for MGN12 linear rails on Taobao and look for the ones that cost around one yuan, find those with discounts. I bought one from each store, leveraging coupons. The bill of materials includes corresponding shopping links. The lead screw is an M5 190mm long screw, using two nuts staggered to eliminate backlash. The frame, platform, and cross slide are 3D printed, printed with high wall thickness and high infill density, using PETG material for strength. The PDF below contains the bill of materials and a simple assembly tutorial.
It uses an ER unpowered spindle, bought on Pinduoduo for 9.5 yuan, driven by a 2GT timing belt. This improves tool accuracy and reduces tool runout.
