Description

This is a brushless motor adapter for the Redcat Ascent 32. It allows you to install brushless motors with the 9mm and 12mm bolt spacing to the Ascent 32 transmission, which uses a 10.2mm bolt spacing. It attaches to the motor using M2 screws with a 3.5mm OD or smaller screw head to recess into the plate. It uses the stock motor screws to attach the plate to the transmission. When attaching to the transmission, do not overtighten the screws. It does not require a lot of clamping force to stay in place. This obviously pushes the motor further from the transmission so you will need to adjust your pinion depth on the shaft accordingly. I tried it with the TRX4M versions of these motors with the longer shafts and the shaft hits one of the gears inside so you'll need to cut the shaft down on those if you choose to run them. I'm currently running the Mofo NanoBAM XL 1900kv with a Furitek MicroPython ESC and stock FCX24 2S battery and everything fits under the stock body.
