Hello everyone!
Today we bring a piece designed to solve one of the biggest challenges in aquascaping and terrariums: the background.
I present to you the Grand Monumental Facade. Inspired by ancient Roman basilicas and libraries (like the one in Ephesus), this two-level structure combines a lower colonnade with an upper arch gallery.
Unlike round temples or triumphal arches, this piece is designed to be the back wall of your ecosystem.
Why is it the most strategic piece in the collection?
- 🙈 Hiding "Clutter": Thanks to its height and opacity, it's perfect for placing in front of the heater, filter tube, or cables running down the back glass. It beautifies the aquarium by hiding technology, but still allows water flow.
- 📏 Depth in a Small Space: Being a narrow but highly detailed structure, it provides a sense of massive scale without "eating up" all the usable floor space. You leave plenty of room in front for fish to swim.
- 🐟 Attic with a View: The upper row of windows/arches is not just decorative. Mid-to-top dwelling fish love to swim through there, and if you have backlighting, the rays of light entering through those windows create an impressive cathedral effect.
- 🧱 Retaining Barrier: The debris-filled base is very solid. You can use it to create terraces, placing the substrate higher behind the facade and lower in front, adding volume to the setup.

- 🧩 Modularity: Its straight design allows (if you know how to edit a bit or if you print two) to place them side by side to cover the entire length of a large aquarium.
