Description

The FI Dogs Mini GPS tracker is great, but the rubber sleeves are not sturdy or trustworthy in any way. After months of using a series of zip ties at all times to keep from losing the tracker, decided to just make this mount. It just pops right in the back, fitment is perfect. has slots to run through x2 3mm zip ties, so you can attach to whatever. I printed in PETG CF, but regular PETG, PLA, and even TPU would work great as well.

Tried a few different ways to print, you can print it facing down, but the face and the logo dont look quite as good as facing up. Facing up, abd using supports and it prints very clean and looks good. You can add fuzzy skin with 0.2mm thickness and 0.2mm point distance and give it a slight textured surface. Regular 0.2mm layers is fine, I did 20% infill with PETG CF, would probably do 25-35% for regular PETG or PLA.

Where is the file? I have had to find my mini fi in the yard and around the house multiple times. this will be great if it’s what I think it is!

Thankyou. I just finished "reading the riot act" to the fi support people - because their solution to their weak case was to discontinue the smallest one. I said I would design my own and stick it to them. But first I searched Makerworld. Now I don't have to! Boost for you even before I print. Thanks to you from me and from my 8 pound tiny dog... which is apparently too excessive for fi's flimsy holders.
