Description

Hello everyone!

Here’s another invention from my “parenting problems solved with 3D printing” collection. This time, I designed a foot stopper for the Chicco crib, allowing you to safely and securely position the crib very close to the parents’ bed — without using any mounting straps whatsoever!

This means the crib stays fully mobile: nothing needs to be clipped, unclipped, tightened, loosened, or wrestled with at 3 AM. Just slide the stopper under the leg and that’s it — the crib stays exactly where you want it.

The stopper is shaped to match the original crib leg profile, providing stability and preventing any unwanted movement. Tested in parent-mode™ — that is, in conditions of sleep deprivation, mild chaos, and the occasional baby smile — it works flawlessly.

If you like this design, feel free to download, print, and use it.

And while you’re here — check out my other projects as well! You’ll find adapters, mounts, and other small inventions designed to make everyday parenting easier (and sometimes a bit funnier).

May your crib stay stable, your baby sleep peacefully, and your engineering challenges be just as fixable!
