H2C / H2D / H2S – Holder & Desk Organizer Inspired by the H Series
I created this model for the THE VORTEK DESIGN CHALLENGE contest on MakerWorld, taking inspiration from the iconic design of the BambuLab H Series printers. My goal was to make something both functional and decorative—an organizer that truly looks like a miniature printer—and that’s exactly how this project came to life.
The top section replicates the shapes and proportions of the real machines, while the base is made from soft TPU, just like on the original printers. For the panels, I chose a bright green inspired by the H Series Laser Edition, giving the model a vibrant, eye-catching look. By changing the color of the side panels, you can match the style of your favorite machine: H2C, H2D, H2D Pro, or H2S.
For printing, I used Bambu PLA basic/matte and Bambu TPU 95A, and to achieve the glittery "glass" effect on the green parts, I printed them on the Sparkly Textured Plate. Once all components were ready, I assembled them using Loctite Super Attak Gel, which works great without leaving any marks.
This organizer fits perfectly on desks, workshops, and creative spaces—ideal for holding pens, tools, business cards, or anything else you want to keep tidy in style.
Despite its detailed design, the model is easy to print even for beginners: simply use the profiles I’ll provide. There will be one print-in-place profile for the H2C version, and another profile for all other models, optimized for printing without AMS.
If you enjoy this project and want to support my work, a Boost would mean a lot! It helps me continue creating polished and useful designs for the MakerWorld community. Thank you! 🙏
