Description

License plate frame inspired by the PS1 game Ridge Racer Type 4, featuring the "Real Racing Roots '99" logo.

For a multi color finish a multi-filament printjob is the way to go, if unfortunately really lengthy.

Alternatively, folks without access to a multi-filament printer (which are most printer owners and most public institutions) can still enjoy excellent results by printing the entire frame in black PETG, then color the raised lettering and logo using enamel paint markers - I sanded over the lettering and logo lightly, cleaned the areas, then painted over the lettering and logo liberally with white and red Testors markers.

The layer lines will suck the paint and make the finish blotchy, but that can be fixed - after ~3 coats you can go over any blotches, spill overs or recessed details carefully with a fine point black Sharpie marker, and finally use plastic clearcoat as a sealant after it all dries.

I went the opposite color scheme and went completely white, painted it and clear coated it and doesn't even look 3D printed.Abaurely in love with your print! Thank you so much!!!
