Description
RePET - BambuLab A1 Adaptation (Bracket + Extruder Base + Button)
Short description
Mount kit to adapt RePET (system created by Ecodecat) to the BambuLab A1.
This set provides:
- X-axis bracket to hold the RePET module/electronics.
- Extruder base that creates a flat surface over the filament sensor.
- Button extension so the toolhead can press the heater’s button at the end of a print via End G-code.
- (Optional) A1 Series Leaver to improve extruder grip on the PET strip (see instructions below).
RePET prints directly from PET bottle strips (not 1.75 mm filament).

Print recommendations
- Material: PETG
- Nozzle: ≥0.4 mm
- Layer height: 0.20
- Perimeters: 3–4
- Infill: 15–25% (cubic)
- Supports: Not required
End G-code
At print end, move the toolhead left to press the button and power off the RePET heater.
In Bambu Studio: Printer Settings → Machine → Machine End G-code.

Optional: A1-Series Feeder Lever (improved grip)
If you notice slipping/under-extrusion/clicking when feeding the PET strip, print this lever to increase traction.
Recommended mod: print the new lever and replace the stock lever, transferring the idler gear/bearing to the printed part. Then remove the stock spring and install a longer M3 screw so it presses directly on the lever as a tension adjuster.
Print tip: PETG or ASA, 3–4 perimeters, 50% infill, lever printed on its side for stronger hinge area.
