GOBBLET Board Game - Bookcase Edition
GOBBLET Board Game is a 2 player game from 2000 that blends memory, strategy, and stacking into an abstract showdown of wits. Each player controls 12 nesting pieces in four sizes and takes turns placing or moving them on a 4×4 grid. The goal is simple: line up four of your own pieces in a row—but watch out! Bigger pieces can gobble smaller ones, hiding them (and potential threats) from view.
What sets GOBBLET Board Game apart is its memory mechanic: you must remember which pieces are hidden beneath others, because lifting the wrong one might reveal your opponent’s victory line. It’s a battle of foresight, bluffing, and board control.
GAME COMPONENTS
The GOBBLET Board Game set includes a 4x4 board, 2 sets of stackable black & white player pieces and a bookcase edition storage box. Each set of player pieces nest in 4 sizes.
BOOKCASE EDITION BOX
The GOBBLET Board Game includes a Bookcase Edition box with a slide top. This bookcase edition box can be stored on a shelf with your other matching bookcase edition games. The box includes convenient storage areas for the player pieces and game board.
INFORMATION & ASSEMBLY
All parts were printed with PLA filament, matt or flat colored filaments work best on board games. I use a textured plate for adhesion. Some parts will need to be superglued, for example, the book spine is glued to the square cornered side of the bookcase box.
