Model Description:
The new 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter II is shipped with the Bambu Lab H2C.
Furthermore, the adapter can be purchased via the Bambu online shop.
The design of the new PTFE adapter has changed and now also offers replaceable filament cleaning pads.
The cleaning pads can be changed without removing the adapter from the mount.
I have tested the new adapter on my H2D and H2S, it is compatible with both printers!
However, Bambu Lab offers it as a spare part suitable for the H2C.
My design includes a side mount to guide the filament directly into the printer from the left side via the PTFE adapter.
The new adapter can be easily clipped in and secured.
It is screwed onto the existing screw points on the back of the printer.
To do this, please remove the three original screws and use longer screws.
Replace the front screw with a BT3x12mm and the two rear screws with BT3x14mm!
Additionally, a mount for the original Bambu PTFE coupler is attached in the middle, through which external filament such as TPU can be fed into the printer via an additional tube.
Two-part concept to easily remove the PTFE adapter inserted into the holder with the tube installed.
For this purpose, the model offers a dovetail guide. The adapter can be pulled out together with the holder via this guide.
Simply unlock the tube and pull the adapter with the holder out to the back.
The flat and rounded back are available via the print profiles.
My print profiles are tuned for PETG.
Please ensure that the tubes are inserted correctly.
Otherwise, there may be problems with the filament feeding.
The tubes from the PTFE adapter to the filament buffer should be approximately 100mm long.
It's better to leave them a bit longer at first and shorten them accordingly until they fit perfectly!
One user reported needing 115mm for a proper fit. So please leave it longer and then shorten it accordingly!
A version of the mount for the "old" 4in1 PTFE adapter is now also available.
