Description
I have seen this on various online shops for a bunch of money and in really bad quality. So I sat down, to model and print this thing for my two cats, so they have something new to play with and don't have to hunt birds and mice to lay on my carpet. They really enjoy playing with this the whole day. Even at 3 am when I would prefer to sleep and not wake up to a ball rolling in a track making the sound of a starting fighter jet, but ist fine.
The model itself is rather self explanatory. The track is held together by three dovetails and the ball has a hexagonal connector pin which holds the two halfs together. You will need to apply some glue for the pieces to hold together optimally, since the print will be under some stress when in use. When you get to the point of assembling it, just don't make the same mistake as I did and forget to put the ball in before gluing the two track pieces together.
So if you are looking for something new to make your little fellas happy, why not try this and see for how long you can stand waking up at 3 in the morning. Anyways, happy printing. :)
