Description

This is a detailed model of the Boeing 737 MAX 8, optimized for FDM 3D printing. I started from a mesh intended for gaming and fully processed it in Bambu Studio to make it printable.

Key Features:

  • Solid Mesh: Fixed geometry issues for smooth slicing.
  • Split Design: The fuselage is cut into parts to allow vertical printing (best surface finish) and easy assembly.
  • Connectors: Includes dowels/connectors for perfect alignment during gluing.
  • Hollowed Motors: The engines are optimized to be printed with minimal supports inside.

Print Settings (Important!): To replicate my success on the Bambu Lab P1S, please use these settings:

  • Orientation: Print fuselage parts vertically.
  • Supports: Tree Supports (Auto) are mandatory for the wings. Use "Support Painting" to block supports inside the turbine engines.
  • Brim: Use a 10mm Brim to prevent the tall parts from wobbling.
  • Walls: 3 Wall Loops.
  • Infill: 15% Gyroid.
