I replicated this "spinning top that goes against the current", strictly adhering to its dimensions

2g of material helps you verify the popular spinning top that rises with water online, please try to use the print profile I provided, if setting yourself, please note the brim width should preferably be 15mm, to prevent it from falling over

To make it easier for everyone to adjust the ascent amplitude to their liking, I have provided the scad source file, you can open it with OpenSCAD to set parameters and generate personalized STL files

I have also designed some tools, I hope you like them:

Funny to see some people printed this model since it obviously wouldn't work, but it's not a physical impossibility for something like this to work. If you have a boundary between two mediums that are moving relative to each other, you can use that to extract energy and potentially move in any direction at any speed. It's just that a silly spiral won't do that... EDIT: If anyone is curious how an unpowered mechanical contraption could possibly defy gravity like that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCsgoLc_fzI

Great model, it can indeed rotate and rise, you just need to pull it with a transparent fishing line
