AR-15 Picatinny KAC Style Rail Cover

I have created a rail cover that aims to emulate the Knights Armament Co picatinny Rail cover, I have also added on a grip texture to ensure a from grasp on the rail covers. I have created profiles for PETG, ABS, and one test profile in PLA to make sure it fits on your rail system of choice. The photos are of the ABS model. These rail covers are designed to be very snug to ensure that they will not come loose during use and remain in place. There are profiles for a long and short version. the short version being 115mm long and the long version being 181.94mm long, examples of each can be seen in the images. I also recommend to not rotate the rail covers and to print them vertically as they sit in the profiles to ensure the best integrity of the covers. The test print PLA version uses lower infill to print quickly while the actual PETG and ABS versions have been printed at 95% infill, 4 walls, and .16mm layer height as this was the strongest variant in my testing. The covers required a hammer for me to install, I had to tap them into place, however they will not be going anywhere anytime soon and remained on my rifle no issues after 250+ rounds.
