Description
I really like my DF83 coffee grinder but the portafilter holder has a bit of a design flaw in my opinion. It's a kind of fork with little silicone boots that are put over the tines. This work fine until the silicone boots eventually fail because they are impossibly thin and rip apart if you force the wings of your portafilter too far into the holder or even just from repeated stress.
They are somewhat hard to get in the EU so I decided to design a new holder around my Brewspire stainless steel portafilters.
The design should work for other 58 mm portafilters as well but I haven't tested it.
