Description

The AMS on my X1C stopped feeding filament from all four compartments. It started pulling it alittle but stopped and just kept spinning. After taking it apart i saw that the protictive cover or cap holding the extrusion wheel from the motor had broken. So, instead of calling customer support i designed my own stonger gear cap. Ran the printer on the external spool using PLA, fitted the part and it works just as before.

Its a snug fit but it goes in there, and the tools required was the 2 original hex keyes that Bambu Lab sent with the printer. I printed it up side down so the side the goes to the hub is upwards and with 100% infill.

I think the original part is abit to weak as it has several pounds of pressure on it from the spring to the counterwheel tensionermechanism.

Anyway, if anyone else encounter this problem i hope it help
