Umbrella Holder Stroller Attachment

After a particularly rainy trip to a theme park with my kids, I wanted a stroller attachment to hold an umbrella that could be easily attached and let the umbrella pop in and out quickly. Since none seemed to exist, I made my own. After many iterations, this design has a hinged clamp that attaches to a stroller or wheelchair frame with a wingnut on a bolt and umbrella mount that fits most straight handle umbrellas. 

It requires ¼" bolts in 1" length to attach the base piece to the clamp (and extensions if using)  and 2" length bolt for the hinge and 1" to 2" bolt to close the clamp. One ¼" nut is needed for the hinge and ¼" wingnuts for the other joints.

There are two different attachments for large or small umbrellas that can be swapped out as needed. Small umbrellas are ones with a pole diameter of about a 1/4 inch and large umbrellas have a pole diameter of about ½ inch. The black and white umbrella in my photo is a large golf umbrella. Because many repeated uses can wear out the clip that holds the umbrella in, you can easily print a new one and swap out just that part. 

7" and 11" extensions are included for short umbrellas, tall people and in case you need to make it shift to one direction. 

Never leave a baby unattended with this product. All small parts pose a choking hazard. Firmly secure and test it before putting a child in the stroller.
