This famous photo was taken from the air by Japanese photographer Shibata Mitsuo in 1985, during the 133 Chongqing ship's mission to intercept and monitor the Soviet Navy's missile cruiser "Frunze", demonstrating the Chinese Navy's determination and courage at that time to confront a 25,000-ton behemoth with a vessel weighing less than 4,000 tons.
In the photo, the size difference between the two ships is not particularly obvious, but only when models of the same proportion are placed together can one feel the oppressive presence of a ship several times larger.

The Type 051 destroyer is the first generation of guided-missile destroyers independently designed and built by China. The lead ship entered service in 1971, and a total of 17 vessels were subsequently built, all of which have now been decommissioned.
The 051D destroyer is 132 meters long, has a full-load displacement of 3,670 tons, and its main armaments include 2 triple-mounted Haiying-1A anti-ship missiles, 2 130mm twin main guns, and so on.
Model scale 1:2000, length about 66mm,
I made early and late versions, with little difference, only subtle variations in the mast.
For the early version's paint scheme, the hull is sea grey, and the deck is green.
For the late version's paint scheme, the hull is light grey, and the deck is grey.
The hull and bottom can be fitted with 4x1mm magnets for magnetic connection, or bonded with 3D printed 4x2 cylinders.
