Keep your stage and pony bottle hoses straight and organized! This hose keeper will lock into place your unruly hoses and make it easy to deploy or affix them during a dive. Two pieces attached with bungie cord will do the job. [Update] By request, I have added a slot for an aluminum clamp to be threaded through the part as a stronger attachment option. You can use either a bungie cord or clamp.
Rubber hoses tend to be wider than braided hoses, so there is a part provided for both types. Note that there is a lot of variation in hose diameters. The braided model is 12mm and the rubber is 13. Rubber hoses may fit in smaller 12mm part, but braided hoses will be too loose in the 13mm design. You can always scale the model up or down slightly if needed to make additional adjustments.
To avoid problems with water pressure or retaining water I have made the part completely open. Slicer settings must be followed if you want to print the part as designed. Top and Bottom shell must be 0 layers/mm. Infill must be Honeycomb 25% to provide a strong but porous inner structure.
I used ABS for a good combination of strength and durability. PETG or ASA would also be a good option. Avoid PLA as it does not last long in the elements of saltwater and sun. It will eventually swell, crack, and fail. A seperate profile using TPU for AMS is provided. Standard TPU is reported to work as well, but print it slower at 30mm/s.
