The Christmas Cat, or the Yule Cat, belongs to Icelandic Christmas folklore, known for lurking and, according to legend, devouring people who have not received new clothes for Christmas.
Feline figure in a sitting pose, with an open, menacing mouth. The body lines twist, accentuated by marked folds and taut surfaces. Wide-open eyes and erect ears reinforce its intimidating character. The design merges anatomical realism with sculptural abstraction.
Fuzzy skin used throughout the figure (0.16 / 0.16) except for the eyes.
Special care when removing the supports from the mouth, to avoid breaking any teeth or the tongue. A lot of patience is required when removing the supports.
I believe it can be scaled larger, but not smaller precisely because of the teeth.
