Crystal Layer Snowflake
Print Profile(4)

Bill of Materials
Description
Decorate your Christmas tree with this 3D snowflake made of multiple layers that fit together with precision, creating a solid and attractive three-dimensional effect. The model is double-sided, making it ideal for hanging and looking good from any angle.
It can be printed even with small printers (such as the A1 Mini) and is available both in an AMS version for multicolor printing in a single session, and in a non-AMS version with separated color parts.
Additionally, you will also have a file available to print them smaller, reduced by 60%
The project uses three color tones (white, light blue, and dark blue), but you can customize them freely. Matte filament is recommended for a more elegant finish.
Assembly is quick and simple: just interlock the layers to create a solid and refined Christmas decoration.
Update:
date dd/mm/yyyy 22/11/2025
Added hole to hang it with a hook (all .3mf updated)
Colors used:
- Matte White (11100)
- Matte Ice Blue (11601)
- Matte Sky Blue (11603)
Optional :
-Transparent
- PETG Translucent (32101)
-Color of your choice
Note:
-The perfect fit is achieved if you use Matte material; for other types of material, the fit will work but it won’t be perfect.
-The print bed must be very clean; I use a little 99% isopropyl alcohol, and if necessary, I also use some spray glue. I get along well with 3DLAC.
-To join the two pieces printed with Ams, you can rely on inserts or otherwise use plastic glue.
Snowflake size:
I recommend you only scale what you will print with Ams to the size you want. I would avoid making the one without Ams much smaller, because the tolerances are correct for that size.
Placement on the print bed:
I positioned the pieces like this so that I could double them on the P and X series
No-Ams plate arrengement: Example on A1 mini

Plate arrangement with-Ams: Example on A1 mini
