I was inspired to design my own Christmas pickle ornament, so I sculpted a pickle ornament and ended up turning them into earrings!

Want to turn this Christmas Pickle Ornament into earrings?

Watch this quick assembly demo – I also show how it looks on me!

Ornament charm variations

  • small loop hole on the top of the cap – fits on the end of an earring hook (see video)
  • straight hole on the cap from one side to the other – fits on friendship bracelet string
  • no hole – add your own negative as needed

Backing cards

  • Designed to print quickly – only one color change required!
  • Quick and easy to fold and assemble!
  • Cute way to display when not in use – doubles as decor!

Styles

  • v1 - subtle pickle jar: This one has 3 tighter fitting holes
  • v2 - curvy pickle jar: This one is my favorite (so far).

3MF files

The 3MF file is already set up with ready-to-print backing cards.

I've set them up with 3 holes so you can choose to hang one in the middle or two equally spaced out on the card.

If you would like to remove a hole, change that part from a Negative Part to a Part or delete it.

I designed it this way so that it is flexible for you to customize it to your needs (e.g. you can resize and reposition the holes).

STL files

When using the raw STLs, please follow these steps when slicing to ensure there are holes for hanging the pickle ornaments:

  1. Split to parts
  2. Select each hole part that you would like to have printed as a hole, and change the type to Negative Part (you can resize and reposition them as you'd like).

I can't wait to see your makes and how you're using them!
