Description
Christmas Market - Mini Train Diorama
It’s Christmas time! And that means it’s time for the first X-Mas Mini Train Diorama.
This diorama depicts a small village preparing the Christmas market in the town center.
Since everything is completely covered in snow, a small snow removal vehicle has to clear the paths.
At the same time, the colorful Christmas train delivers building materials and/or presents for the market
Just like in the previous dioramas, turning the hand wheel on the side sends the little train chugging forward and also the little snow-clearing vehicle drives through the streets. To make the ride a bit more random, I came up with a different mechanism for the handwheel.
The vehicle briefly stops at three points before continuing its journey.
Of course this diorama is “Beginner Kit Motor Box” and “CyberBrick Motor Box” compatible. And the new locomotive and wagon are compatible to the previous Dioramas. Beside that the wagons could be loaded with different materials.

Printing:
I placed some of the small parts twice on the print bed, because in terms of time and purge it makes hardly any difference. This way you have a spare part or can choose the one that looks better.
Following PLA Basic Filaments are used
White
Silver/Grey
Black
Cocoa Brown
Mistletoe Green
Yellow/Gold
Red
Desert Tan (PLA Matte)
Blue (just presents)
Other colors are possible of course, look what you have in stock.
I think it could be easy done with single color, if you want to color from hand.
I printed with a 0,4mm nozzle! Iam very pleased with the result, but you can try a 0,2 nozzle as well.
Assembly:
You need 8pcs round 4x2 magnets and glue.

The snow vehicle can only turn in one direction. If you want to drive in the other way you must rotate the vertical pin holder 180°
I hope you like this little project.
