Description

This festive miniature bucket is designed to look like a wrapped holiday gift, complete with a ribbon accents that form a decorative bow on top! Compact yet functional, pop open the lid to reveal a small interior space perfect for holding money, gift cards, candy, or other treats.

The attached handle adds both charm and convenience, making it easy to carry, hang, or display as part of seasonal decor.

Crafted with clean lines and bold colors, this piece brings a playful, gift-themed twist to traditional holiday containers. Whether used as a stocking stuffer, party favor, or small surprise box, it offers a fun, reusable way to present mini gifts. It’s an eye-catching accessory that blends whimsy with practicality—ideal for spreading festive cheer on a small but memorable scale.

The interior is sized to fit a gift card vertically (approximately 86mm tall x 56mm minimum inside diameter)-

If you don't need that much space for your gift, feel free to scale down!  My test prints showed decent results down to about 75% size of normal.

Assembly is super easy. The pieces print separately to prevent waste filament.  The handle snaps into the bucket and has retaining clips to hold it in place.  Best orientation is horizontal to snap into the sides.

For the side wrapping, slide the pieces up from the bottom of the bucket-

The bow pieces slide down onto the lid-

Use a little dab of glue to hold these pieces in place!

thanks for the rating and the pictures! looks like they turned out well for you! if you want a different type of gift card holder, I also made one to look like a ruggedized/Pelican case- https://makerworld.com/en/models/2090071-christmas-present-rugged-box-gift-card-holder#profileId-2259257

I used the 100% scaled model, and I'm not sure if it was me, or something else, but I found in incredibly difficult to take off the supports on the bottom (in the grooves where the ribbons go). I also couldn't get the ribbons to slide up under the brim. the lid once I got it snapped on, was pretty much impossible to take off. I love this model, and I may try again with the 77% scale... just to see if it was just something with that scale, or maybe me... but to fix it, I'll have to likely cut the ribbons up near the lid top, and just glue it all in place.

sorry you had a couple issues with printing it. did you happen to print in PLA or some other material? the model is somewhat tuned to use PLA with the tolerances and the support removal settings. I will double check to make sure I didn’t mess up something on my end for sure though. sometimes I’ve found if you happen to be printing in different brands or types (I.e. regular PLA vs PLA+ or matte PLA), there can be slightly different shrinkages and extrusions that can mess with snap fits. if you are using PLA and have the same brand/type, you might try reprinting the ribbon in the same brand/type. or for the sake of argument, maybe print the ribbon in the same material as the main bucket and see if the fit is any better.

I was actually doing a PLA silk, so it is very well that could likely be the issue then. Thank you for the quick reply :) I'll see if I can give it another try

Yeah Silk can be a pain sometimes for stuff like that. I posted a print profile though with some looser tolerances and some tweaked support settings if you want to give that one a try as well. You won't be the only one probably wanting to print with Silk. It will take some glue probably to get it to fit together, but let me know if you have similar issues!

Came out great, scaled it up a bit so I could fit in there what I wanted and still functioned.

Well apparently I wasn't paying attention to what profile I had selected when I downloaded it. I guess I was on the 77% profile thinking I was on the 100% and scaled that one up.🤦🏼‍♂️ I went up to like 85% to fit the gift for my nephew. So the 100% probably would have worked if I was able to pay attention ha.

You're welcome. Thank you for the model. That's a cool gift idea better than just an envelope for cash.

if you’re looking for another unique way to gift cash or a gift card, I also made a rugged style case that snaps closed- https://makerworld.com/models/2090071
