This small adapter ring ensures that the Thermomix 7 lid attachment sits much more securely and cannot easily slide off or fall from the lid. The improved fit significantly increases stability, and the attachment remains reliably in place even with intensive use

For printing the adapter ring, it is recommended to use a heat-resistant material such as PP, ABS or ASA, as these plastics remain dimensionally stable even at higher temperatures. Please also note that the used filament should be food-safe, as the adapter ring is used in a food environment. PETG and PLA cannot withstand the high temperatures

The clamp pointing towards the handle is slightly looser than the other two so that the adapter ring can be removed more easily

Unfortunately the holder deformed so much during the first cooking that the lid even falls off more easily

Thank you for your feedback. What material did you use to print the holder @user_1198368223

PLA and PETG both show significant warping I will try it again with HT-PLA soon

I recommend making this handle 1mm larger than the original and after printing, put it in boiling water. After "boiling" it fits and doesn't shrink any more.

No, that is the most unsuitable material for it. Especially since it cannot withstand the hot steam from the TM at all

The first nose broke off immediately when I inserted it, and my lid couldn't be connected to the adapter either. It might be important to ask what kind of seal the adapter is intended for. In the first generation, the lid seal has nubs. In the second generation, they are more like wedges to help the lid hold better

Oh interesting that there is already a Gen2. The adapter is intended for the version with nubs. I haven't actually broken a nose yet, not even with PLA.

Good print but not suitable for pla or petg, it's fine if used for cold preparations, with heat it softens and no longer holds the lid in place

What is this lid for?

To connect the two lids so they are not that loose as they are by default

I printed it twice, on the first try a pin broke off directly, on the second try I increased the wall count and then it fit. After the first cooking process, the lid falls off just like without the part, printed with ABS
