Description

A Compact, No-Fuss Daily Reminder for Your Routine

Keeping track of small daily tasks shouldn’t require bulky boards or oversized organizers.
This compact Daily Reminder gives you a clean, simple way to stay on top of your routine — without taking up unnecessary space.

Designed for Tight Spaces

The back includes a spot for 6x 6x3mm neodymium magnets, so you can place the reminder on your fridge or any metal surface. A small piece of double sided tape does the trick as well.
Small footprint, zero clutter, no additional parts needed — exactly what a daily reminder should be.

Easy Setup

  1. Insert the sliders in the front plate
  2. Attach the backplate (needs some pressure from your side)
  3. Add magnets or or some double sided tape
  4. Position it wherever it naturally fits your routine

Languages

Currently there are only German and English week-days available. On request, I can add other languages. Just PM me or comment this model.

Usage remarks

Please consider that due to wear or printing side effects the sliders might accidentally slide down. As you can choose the orientation and therefore the color of the sliders in the lower position, decide yourself what is less critical: Having it not done at all or having it done twice.

Note: This should normally not happen. Ensure you have checked that the sliders do not move freely without you moving them.

Printing instructions

You can print everything as it is. I am using basic/matte PLA from Bambu und JAYO PLA for the colors with no issues. Read the FAQ BEFORE printing and decide if you want the sliders to move easily or rather clumsily.

FAQ

How can I prevent the sliders from moving?

The reminder board is designed in a way that the tolerances ensure the function. This means only if the front and back plate are completely attached to each other, the sliders won't move by their own weight. On the other side it is ensured that the sliders can be moved easily. For this reason you need to apply some pressure, likely more than you expect. It is easiest if you put the reminder board on the table, front-side up. Then move all sliders on one side and put your thenar on the opposite side. Use your body weight to apply pressure on the board, then move a few centimeters and repeat. Once done, move all sliders to the opposite side and repeat. Check afterwards if there is a gap remaining between the front and back plates. If so, repeat it until both plates faces' are touching each other.

The sliders are still moving, no gap between the front and back plates remains, 2 mm slider version used.

If you still have issues or just require the sliders to move that easily you can think of reprinting the sliders. Those are 2 mm in height and adding 0.1 mm to them has a recognizable effect. There are scaled (only Z-height!!!) sliders to 105% in the project to achieve the desired effect. Here some more orientation:

100%: Default 2 mm: The sliders do not move freely, but still easily. Bumps or shaking can lead to moving sliders.

105%: 2.1 mm: The sliders require more force to be moved but stay properly in position.

How can I open the reminder board?

The easiest way to open the board is to use the Bambu scaper. Gently put it between the front and back plates and move it a little bit. Move to the side and repeat until you haven opened it a visible gap wide. Repeat it on the opposite side which you open appr. double as much. Repeat these steps on the opposite side until you can open it with your hands.

Caution: Do this on a table and ensure your hand and fingers will not be hurt by putting them away from the blade. Slipping will cause serious injuries.
