Rod Holder Boat

This **modular fishing rod holder** was specially developed for inflatable boats and is attached to the boat's **transom**. The assembly is carried out entirely with **3D-printed screws**, so no additional metal material is required

🎣 Functions & Features

• Space for 2 fishing rods
  Each holder unit securely accommodates two rods – ideal for UL setups as well as sturdy pike or zander rods (up to approx. **4000 series reels**).
• Two Variants: Short & Long
  • Short Version: For rods **up to 2.10 m** 
  • Long Version: For rods **over 2.10 m**
• Lockable Rod Holders
  To prevent the rods from **falling out** even in waves, during transport, or with strong acceleration, the holders are equipped with a **locking mechanism**.
• Modular System
  All components can be individually replaced, adapted, or expanded. This allows the holder to be perfectly matched to your own equipment.
• Mounting on the Transom
  The base plate is attached directly to the transom of the inflatable boat and holds reliably even under strong tensile loads thanks to its large contact area.

🧵 Recommended Print Settings

• Material:
  PETG-CF, **PA-CF**, or another **UV-resistant, high-strength filament**.
  Since the model is subject to heavy loads and constantly exposed to sun and moisture, PLA is strongly discouraged.
• Infill: 40–60%, depending on the material
• Wall Thicknesses: 3–5 perimeter
• Print Orientation:
  Orient the holders as much as possible so that tensile forces run along the layers.
