Description

Hey everyone,

i designed a ballpoint pen cartridge for pen style tattoo machines. It uses the cheap and accesible BIC Cristal Inserts.

Assembly is fairly straight forward all you need is a BIC Insert, a spring that fits the bic insert and the printed parts. Also something like a small screwdriver, a pair if snips or scissors and optional super glue. The Model Pictures are sorted into a quick and easy assembly guide and can be used as refference.

  1. Cut the BIC Insert ~50mm (length may vary slightly depending on your tattoo gun)
  2. Insert the Bic Insert into the main Cart Body.
  3. Insert the spring into the back of the main Cart Body.
  4. Slide retainer ring onto the BIC Cart and use small screwdriver or similar to push it further into the main Body. Make sure the Bic Cart can move freely and has enough travel.
  5. Finaly slide the end cap into the main body.

If you have any loose fitting parts you can either scale the retaining ring or the end cap slightly or use super glue to hold them in place. I didnt have any issues regarding this but depending on your filament and printer calibration you may experience this issue.

Hope you enjoy!
