Description

This is a tool for removing and installing pin and ball lock type posts on a corny / coca-cola /Cornelius 2.5/5 gallon 9/18 Liter kegs.

The posts require a 22mm (7/8") socket with slots cut out for the pins. This tool enables you to remove the post without the need of a modified socket.

This tool works with both pin lock and ball lock kegs as they use the same wrench size.

The part is printed with 5 perimeters to ensure enough strength and in testing has shown no failure in the long term testing.

Printable with 10 - 25 % infill. Fuzzy skin is not necessary, but it does hide the layerlines

Keg post do not need to be torqued down, simply hand tightening with this tool ensures a good seal.

Should you like to crank it down, version v1.1 adds a slot for a lever/screwdriver to crank the posts down.

This tool is continuously being redesigned and upgraded.

Notice: The parts are designed with diametral clearance of 0.75 mm (2x 0.4 mm nozzle) to compensate for squish while printing. Should your print not fit,  increase the X and Y scale of the part in your slicer.

Changelog

v1.1 : This version adds a screwdriver slot so you can crack open those stuck posts.

v1.2: Added version for 11/16" (17mm) ball post size.
