Description of the Flashforge AD5X IFS Top-Mount System
This model is a custom top-mounted spool and IFS relocation system designed for the Flashforge AD5X. It moves both IFS modules from the back of the printer to a rigid dual-spool frame positioned above the machine, improving filament flow, reducing drag, and making spool changes far easier.
Hardware Required
To assemble the full mount you will need:
- 8× M5 × 16 mm bolts
- 4× M5 × 20 mm bolts
- 2× M5 × 8 mm bolts
- 18× M5 nuts
- 8× M3 × 12 mm bolts
- 6× M3 × 16 mm bolts
- 15× M3 nuts
- PTFE tube 4 x 150mm
