"Keep Austin Weird"—starting in the 70s!
This is a unique 3D sculpt based on a classic vintage ad from The Rag, Austin’s legendary underground newspaper. It features "Gandalf," the long-haired, beanie-wearing hippie mascot of the famous Gandalf's shop at 38th & Speedway.
He's sculpted carrying his signature sack of "goodies" (including some recognizable herbal leaves and glassware) and sporting his propeller beanie. This model captures the sketchy, hand-drawn style of the original 60s/70s line art, brought into 3D.
Please Note: This model is a historical tribute to vintage counterculture art. It is provided as a single-color STL. The smooth surfaces and cartoon proportions make it an excellent candidate for "cel-shaded" painting to look like the original drawing.
