PALIA HOT POT Board Game - Bookcase Edition
PALIA Hot Pot is a 4-player online Tabletop Card Game found in the game, PALIA. With this one-of-a-kind 3D model, it can now be printed and played as a board game. Please support the online version, additional information can be found at “Hot Pot Minigame WIKI”.
The Card Deck consists of 96 Cards, each player starts with 8 Cards on their Card Tray. In the board center is the Hot Pot, where you will find the draw pile.The objective is to create three sets of three cards each. Sets can be made with either a Three-of-a-Kind Set (3 identical cards) or a Category Set (3 cards of the same color). Coins are collected with each set created. Rules are below for download.
INFORMATION
All parts were printed with PLA filament (matt works great for games). I use a textured plate for adhesion. Some parts will need to be superglued. The bookspine is glued to the flat side of the bookcase box.
Do NOT glue the Hot Pot Board to the tile stand base and do NOT glue the draw pile holder to the Hot Pot as they will all need to come apart for storage into the Bookcase Edition box.
Inspiration to design the game came from my daughter who plays the PALIA HOT POT minigame. Inspiration for the cards came from the Palia CNY Hot Pot Game Tiles.
GAME COMPONENTS
The PALIA HOT POT Board Game set includes a Hot Pot Board, a Draw Pile Holder, a 4-sided Card base for the Hot Pot, 96 Hot Pot Cards, 49 Coin Tokens and a Bookcase Edition storage box.
BOOKCASE EDITION BOX
The PALIA HOT POT Board Game includes a Bookcase Edition box with a slide top. This bookcase edition box can be stored on a shelf with your other matching bookcase edition games.
The box incudes convenient storage areas for the game parts and game board. To store the game, remove the Hot Pot board from the tile stand. Place the Hot Pot board into the center of the box, flip the tile stand base upside-down and place it around the Hot Pot board. Place all the cards and coins in the pot and set the card draw stand back on the pot. Close the lid of the box.
ASSEMBLY OF THE BOARD GAME
Remove the Tile Stand from the box and place it on the table. Take the Hot Pot board and set it on top of the tile stand base. Attach the Draw Pile Holder to the top of the HOT Pot. The Hot Pot can be used as either the discard pile or the draw pile.
