Mercedes-Benz Vision GT Keychain
Here is my 3D printed miniature interpretation of the spectacular Mercedes-Benz Vision GT. This concept car, famous for its futuristic design and its appearance in the Gran Turismo 6 video game, has been transformed into a detailed and functional keychain.
I aimed to capture the aggressive aerodynamic lines and the iconic grille of the Vision GT. Even at a reduced scale, details like the wheels and headlights are well-defined.
I recommend printing it with a metallic-infused PLA filament (like the silver one I used) to enhance the "automotive" look and pay homage to the sleek metal of the original concept.
The compact size makes it an ideal accessory for your keys, backpack, or as a small desk ornament.
As always is equiped with fully functional wheels, everything printed with PIP tecnique!
I tried to use the new PLA Translucent for the headlights, that turned out great! Even with small dimensions :D (really in love with that color)
This is more a tribute to the world of concept cars, i REALLY doubt that some of you own this beautiful car :D
OH! And it's the fist Mercedes on the page!!!

Every model is PIP; the wheels are actually working.
I used AMS to achieve optimal multicolor results.
The model requires no assembly; you just need to carefully remove the tree supports already set in the print profile.
Better results can be achieved using the 0.2 mm printhead, at the expense of increased print times.
It's recommended NOT to change the print profile settings to avoid having problems with the final result.
I invite you to use tweezers and small pliers to remove the supports.
In more recent models, I've used smaller tolerances for the wheel alignment, to ensure a higher level of detail and fewer supports to remove in that area.
For this reason, it's necessary to "break in" the car once the supports have been removed (trying a couple of times) :D
