Alastor's staff from Hazbin Hotel!!
VOICE CHANGER NEWS AT THE BOTTOM!
the “rod” itself is made using a curtain rod from IKEA(their 28mm, but any 28mm tube that's max 1mm thick should work.
The ikea curtain rod is the IKEA HUGAD 120-210 rod in black. you need to separate them and take out the plastics, and then its the thinner of the 2 rods that are used for this staff.
The staff is designed to fit together only using glue (or friction if your printer isn't perfect.)
The “-el” parts, are part of a voice changer i have in the works for this staff, it is currently unfinished. but i will update the design and share a parts list when it is done.
(The bottom 2 pieces are made to snap together with magnets but that is still a work in progress. super glue works just as well for now since the electronics aren't in place yet)
if printing on the a1-mini the “Flame” part will be exactly 6mm too tall, so you will need to tilt and turn it till it fits.
UPDATE???
apparently my staff was used in the fan show called Hazbin Showtel??!!! i am honored!
VOICE CHANGER:
the first generation of the voice changer for this staff is in the works! feel free to help make it real!
Here is the BOM for the design i have planned, (with links for buying it in the EU, since that's where i'm located.) :
- Teensy 4.0
- For the main SOC doing the voice effects.
- Dayton audio CE32-4 Micro Speaker
- small speaker with good enough and loud enough sound to be used!
- INMP441 MEMS Microphone
- Microphone found to work well with the Teensy 4.0 to keep a digital audio chain to keep the latency low.
- MAX98357a Amplifier module.
- found to continue the digital chain of i2S, with 3W of power it wont overload the speaker driver but will still get loud enough.
- Digital voltmeter LED Display.
- an easy way to measure the voltage on your batteries, made to fit in the bottom of the staff.
- 2 sided (On-Off-On) switch
- one side to power on the staff and the other side to check battery voltage without turning on the entire thing.
- 5v regulator.
- to power the sound amplifier which powers the speaker (switching regulator preferably)
- self source
- to power the sound amplifier which powers the speaker (switching regulator preferably)
- 3.3v regulator
- to power the teensy4.0 (switching regulator preferably)
- self source again
- to power the teensy4.0 (switching regulator preferably)
Feel free to add to this list, you of cource need batteries and wires and the ability to work with electronics, but i think this is all
Boost Me (for free)
boost me if you feel like ive earned it :) I still dont really know what it does, but it sounds fun! :D
