Description

I’ve always loved the look of classic piezo tweeters — that simple, retro vibe is iconic. The problem is, of course…they usually sound pretty terrible.

That’s what inspired this project: a full-range speaker that looks like those old-school piezo units but delivers a much more pleasant, usable sound. This was an experimental, just-for-fun build, designed with minimal planning and the most budget-friendly parts I could find. So don’t expect huge volume or hi-fi performance — but you can expect a pair of cool-looking speakers that work surprisingly well as desktop speakers or for background listening.

A more refined, optimized version with higher-quality components is already on my to-do list, so stay tuned!

If you enjoyed this project, don’t forget to like and follow for more!
