OmniScape — OmniCube Basic
OmniCube Basic is a clean, minimalist terrarium designed for small invertebrates — especially jumping spiders and subadult mantises. It’s compact, functional, and built for easy daily use with solid airflow control.
Size
- Overall dimensions: 12 × 12 × 14 cm
Panels (glass or acrylic, user supplied)
All panels are 2 mm thick:
- 10 × 10 cm — left side, right side, back, and sliding top panel
- 10 × 11 cm — front panel
Assembly & design notes
- No glue required — everything slides and locks into place.
- Glue is optional only if you want to attach the decorative handle included in the files.
- Panels can be swapped anytime for custom inserts (decorative or functional).
- Ventilation is adjustable by changing the infill modifier in your slicer.
Top lid warning
Once the top lid is snapped shut, remove/adjust it carefully — the locking pegs hold very firmly, and forcing them may damage the pegs.
Ventilation detail
The leg ventilation is fine enough that Drosophila hydei won’t escape.
