Description

This upload contains all LW (light-weight) parts of the Gö 1 Wolf V2 model, but redesigned and prepared specifically for ASA Aero instead of LW-PLA or PLA Aero.

What the model is

The Göppingen Gö 1 Wolf V2 is a 3D-printable, vintage-style R/C glider inspired by the original 1930s German sailplane.
Eclipson provides the full set of printable components, arrangement drawings, and build instructions on their site.
The original project is intended for LW-PLA because of its extremely low weight and gentle flight characteristics.

Why these parts are released in ASA Aero

All LW-parts are kept true to the original geometry, but the material has been switched to Bambu Lab ASA Aero, which offers several advantages over PLA-based lightweight materials:

  • Far better UV and weather resistance than PLA Aero.
  • Foaming behaviour allows the material to become both light and strong when tuned correctly.
  • More durable surfaces, especially for wings and fuselage sections that experience stress, sunlight, and heat.
  • Perfect for field use, since ASA Aero maintains structural integrity even in warm or sunny conditions where PLA-based materials soften.

Where the original LW-PLA version focuses purely on low weight, the ASA Aero variant keeps the weight down while also adding real durability.
It results in a more robust airframe with the same lightweight behaviour—ideal for pilots who want both performance and longevity.
