Geschiedenis en achtergrond
- Eerste vuurtoren: De huidige vuurtoren vervangt een eerdere stenen vuurtoren die in 1822 werd gebouwd.
- Tweede Wereldoorlog: Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd het licht vernield en de toren vijf jaar buiten gebruik gesteld. De buitenkant werd in camouflagekleuren geschilderd.
