Description

Douglas DC-3: Legendary Aircraft

The Douglas DC-3, known as the Dakota, is a legendary aircraft that profoundly influenced the history of aviation. It first took flight in December 1935 and quickly became an icon due to its reliability, performance, and economy. During World War II, it played a crucial role in the logistical operations of the Allied forces, and even after the war, it remained in service, maintaining its popularity. Even more than eighty years after its first flight, it still serves various purposes worldwide, reminding us of its unmistakable history and legacy.
