Miniature Model - Chinese Display Shelf Storage Rack
Print Profile(1)

Description
Bogujia are wooden shelves used to display various antiques and curiosities. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, immovable Bogujia were placed between pillars for interior decoration, serving as both partitions and display furniture. They are generally divided into upper and lower sections. The upper section, the Bogujia itself, is partitioned into many compartments of different shapes, where various antiques and curiosities can be displayed, making it extremely elegant. The lower section is a small cabinet with doors, used for storing antique artifacts. When two spaces separated by a Bogujia needed to be connected, passages could also be left in the middle or on the sides of the Bogujia for people to pass through. Its openwork lattice is transparent, highlighting the displayed antiques as opulent and elegant.
