Description

This is an adapter for the Astro A50 Gen4, Gen5, and the A50X Headsets to fit a Steelseries Arctis series headband.

I was fed up with the uncomfortable headband of the Astro, so I built this adapter. It's now much more comfortable, and I love it.

The adapter is designed to be used with 4 M2.5x12 ISO 4762 screws. Those screws replace the tiny screws that attach the earpieces to the headset on the Astro.
I'm using an Arctis 7 Headband from a third-party provider for 10€. I'm sure the official replacement headband should work the same, though. The Arctis 3/5 Headband works too.

Compatible Headsets:

A50 Gen4

A50 Gen5

A50X

This model is tuned for Basic PLA. Be careful with other filaments, especially more brittle ones like Matte PLA, as they might not work.
