Letting you know I'm going to build a filament shelf with these and the larger on needs to have four sides to hold two spools one front one back. So i will need a wooden bar in the middle.

There seems to be a problem with plate number 7. If I apply the correction suggested by the slicer, the hole at the bottom gets completely closed

And consider going for a 45 degree print orientation for overall strength in any direction.

Not sure if I made myself clear. See picture below for what I mean with “45 degree print orientation”. As you can see, it also means designing for 45 degree print orientation. Maybe I'm asking for too much, forgive me. I see these designs all the time, but haven't seen anything truly designed for FDM (big and chunky, lots of chamfers, very small attachment to build plate and 0.2 mm tolerances for shrinkage or expansion). I don't think anyone printing this type of stuff really cares about filament usage, but they do care about stiffness, it has to hold a weight over a long period.

Hello, could the middle tabs be made flush to the outside (possibly an option for the inside too) Then the built frames could be easily clad

the tabs are exavly 18mm from the edge to allow for standard boards to attach.

Thank you for your answer. My suggestion is to attach the boards on the frame-outside to hide the construction for a cleaner look. And for simplify the board cutting.

Just for clarification, to get 2x2 inch you should scale to 87%. 0.87% would be a frame for ants. :) The model looks great!

I worry about scaling down to hold say 3/4th aluminum square tubing. Will the reduced size of the material be an issue?
