Modern Linear Lighting

A modern pendant light from the 3D printer.

Dimensions:

Width: 20 mm

Length: 25 mm

Height: 160mm per segment

Hole for cable entry: 8mm

Due to its segmentation, the lamp can be built to any desired length. One end piece and one cable holder are required, and the number of connectors determines the total length. In the photo, the lamp has a length of 64cm (1x cable holder, 2x connectors, 1x end piece).

As a cover (to diffuse the light a bit and possibly hide LED dots), I used an opal sliding cover with dimensions 12.4mm x 0.8mm.

A matching canopy can also be found in the print files.

This can be used in a "hollow wall ceiling" for example made of plasterboard. A 32mm hole is required for this, and the cable entry is 7.1mm. A 3-core (3x1.5mm²) cable with textile sheathing fits quite snugly here, so the luminaire can be held by it alone due to its low weight. The canopy itself has dimensions 45mm x 45mm.
