Sounds like bed adhesion issues. Have you washed your build plate with dish soap and made sure it doesn’t have any fingerprints? Have you tried some glue as well? The classic purple Elmer’s glue sticks work great for this.

No problem. I only know because I’ve done the same 100 times. At this point I am honestly deathly scared of touching my build plate with anything but the scraper and a glue stick haha. Happy printing and best of luck!

Will it work on a real bike?

Absolutely! It depends. It is exact 1:1 scale for single speed/track chain. So if you bike uses that size then it will definitely work. I think road bikes and mountain bikes use a slightly different size chain and sprocket. As for durability I don’t think it would last too long but I have no doubt it would work if you were reasonable gentle.

If you download the profile, you can just change the printer and it will update the plate size. The main plate objects wont fit but there is a second plate that has just the pieces needed for a single link. You can take those and copy and past and move them around to get as many as you need and can fit onto the a1 mini plate.
