Description

Check out V2.5 of this siren which is dual tone and is even louder!

Another Dremel siren designed for the Dremel 7760 (Dremel Lite). This is a single tone, 4 port siren, but I designed it way differently to any prior siren I have made. It has backward curved vanes, along with a curve on the Z axis, and is a closed “impeller.” I was aiming to have the air move in a more downwards direction so that way all of it would go through the stator, and not leak out the top. This seems to have worked, though, with the dB measured at 118.1! This thing actually starts to hurt my ears to run it on max for any length of time, and it is SO SMALL to be this loud.

NEW MEASUREMENT 11-27-2025: With the horn installed and the dB meter is positioned at the end of the horn, it reached a painful 127 dB, which is way louder than it ever should be.

Assembly should be pretty self explanatory by looking at the pictures. Install the horn by sandwiching between the Dremel and the stator.
