Description

Modern Japandi Reindeer decoration, great contemporary deco for the winter season. Standard size is 135 mm tall and 130% version is 175 mm tall. Models are printed with 1 wall to save filament, ears and antlers are printed with 3 walls and gyroid infill to ensure enough strength. Short antler version is available exclusively through my patreon!

Love this model, but unfortunately I'm having a minor issue with the antlers. Seems like the overhangs are too steep? Printed on both the A1 and H2D with similar results. Do you think this could be solved by using a lower layer height?

That's my thinking too, but would not expect to have a cooling problem on the H2D.

Great model. Printed in translucent pla, removed the base and fitted over ground spotlights. Going to look awesome in the front yard display.

Thats most likely Arachnes or thin walls fault.

The print profile is no longer public

used wood pla from bambu. Antlers have a lot of stringing.

I had stringing on my brown filament on the antlers as well, that I suspect is either due to filament moisture or perhaps temperature of the chamber causing the stringing due to .2mm , if you look at my print on Improved Quality 2 there is no stringing and this was with a .16 layer line which could be the fix, the only issue I have there is seem lines. I hope this helps.

I have now printed some of these reindeer in various colors. All enlarged to 150mm height. The result is as good as perfect when printed individually. When printing multiple, I have to reduce the speed at the top end. Printed with P1S and various Geeetech PLA Thank you!
