Hey there!✨
Have you ever seen these cute nut earrings made with tiny real chestnuts and acorns? I always find them endearing, but I also fear breaking them or damaging them in the rain. So I decided to design a printable pair for myself, and of course, I didn't want normal nuts, so I chose some that had gone bad. :D
For printing these cuties:
- Use a low layer height, such as 0.12 mm.
- Reduce the infill percentage to about 5% and increase the number of walls to 3.
- No support is needed for this print, but you may want to enable "Outer brim" generation for improving the adhesion to the print bed (since the pieces are quite small).
Assembly Note:
- I've designed this pair in three parts so you can use various filaments for the body and the top. After the print is complete, use the rectangular "key" component to center the body and the top, and use super glue or hot glue to connect them.
- Compared to my other designs, you'll need a slightly larger metal ring to turn this design into earrings.
Hope you'll enjoy it, and happy printing! :)🥂
