Description

A compact, 3D-printed modular sorting station designed to separate plastic and aluminum efficiently. Featuring a lightweight structure, customizable components, and an eco-friendly design, this system provides an accessible and scalable solution for modern waste management and recycling applications.

For this project, you will need the following components:

  • 1 Arduino Uno
  • 1 L298N Motor Driver
  • 1 SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor
  • 1 Inductive Sensor
  • 1 MG995 Servo Motor (including its screw kit)
  • 1 Motor with an 8 mm shaft and a maximum speed of 3600 rpm
  • 37 M4 nuts
  • 10 M4 x 35 mm screws
  • 26 M4 x 20 mm screws
  • 6 bearings (28 outer ring - 12 inner ring)
  • 2.5 m wire (1.5 diameter cut into 65 pieces of 31mm) for attaching belt elements
