Description

Hello everyone!

This is my first upload in Makerworld. I am preparing a modular belt conveyor system joined by magnets that can be enlarged or shortened as much as you want.

This is a scale model of a belt conveyor at scale 1:10

It is done by modules of diferent lengths. However, for most printers you could only print 1m and 2m modules (100mm and 200mm long). The 3m module (300mm long) can be only printed in the biggest models of bambulab printer.

However, do not worry, you can build your entire conveyor only with 1m modules.

The tail drum has a tensioning system with screw and nut

The head drum has a 3D printed bearing system and it has a gearmotor of 9v with 90rpm.

For the belt, I used a strip of PEVA. However, I believe that a neoprene strip would also work.

VERY IMPORTANT!!

The model uses magnets 6x3mm but they MUST be N52 quality (high force).

I tried with lower quality magnets and the model does not hold much until it collapses.

I bought them in amazon from a seller called Magnetastico in Europe (I am from Spain but I believe the seller is german).

You can buy them wherever you want but ensure that they are N52 quality at least.

There are some parts that have to be printed in TPU although the model could work without them if you do not have TPU.

The rubbers for the load chute and the lagging of the impact rollers is made of TPU.

Tlhe lagging of the head drum is more relevant and if you do not have TPU, then maybe you should line the head drum with some sandpaper to avoid slippage.

The frame design is completed, however all the accessories design is still in development but I upload this model for the belt conveyor challenge as it works perfectly as a conveyor.

I am finishing a modular walkway system, corrugated covers, impact bars for the loading area and much more.

It will depend on the popularity between the community that I upload them and keep designing.

Then please, if you like the model give me your boost and put your comments if you like the conveyor model.

Any design proposal will be greatly appreciated and I will try to keep the model updated and upgraded.

If you like this model and you want to support me so I can keep designing and adding accessories to this modular belt conveyro system, then please Boost Me!!

The design contest is about to finish and I noticed it too late so I did not have much time to prepare everything. However, I will keep updating the instructions and the design as soon as I can.

Please enjoy and give me your feedback.
